Olagosa 2015 – Bodegas Perica – DOCa Rioja
Three months in oak.
Grape: 95% Viura, 5% Malvasia
Elaboration process: After a cold maceration of both the skin and the grape juice for approximately 24 hours, this white wine ferments in new oak french casks. Once the fermentiation in the cask is over it will remain in contact with its lees for the three additional months before bottling.
Colour: Yellow green colour with shinny tones.
Nose: Fruity expression with notes of pineapple and apple Very strong hints of vanillia, coming from the three months ageing in French oak barrels.
Taste: Ripe fruit wrapped in the creaminess of a well assembled oak.
Food pairings: Strong cheese and white meats
